Telephone:

Verizon (1-800-483-2000) and Cavalier Telephone (1-800-683-3944) offer residential and business telephone services and DSL.  Cox Communications (757-224-1111) offers digital telephone and high-speed Internet services for residential and business use. 

Newspapers: 

The Virginia Gazette serves as the local Williamsburg paper and is issued twice each week. The Daily Press  publishes a local daily newspaper for Williamsburg in addition to its expanded coverage of the Hampton Roads area.  The Richmond Times-Dispatch is also available daily within the Williamsburg region. 

Television: 

Five area stations offer local broadcasting. Cox Communications also provides cable television services for the area. Government and educational information is broadcast on cable channels 46 through 48.

The City Council’s Quarterly Quill Newsletter, the New Resident’s Guide, and the Neighborhood Guide are all available at http://www.williamsburgva.gov/govt/key.htm.
