Merchants Square and surrounding businesses offer more than 50 unique shops, restaurants, and services. The Colonial Williamsburg Historic Area is home to world class stores, restaurants, and taverns that recreate the 18th century colonial environment.
The City is also serviced by Williamsburg Shopping Center, Monticello Shopping Center, and Patriot Plaza.
Quarterpath Crossing Shopping Center, an 86,000 sf shopping center, plans to open in June 2009.
Two new mixed-use retail/residential developments are planned: High Street Williamsburg and Quarterpath at Williamsburg.
