Online Payment System Will Be Down for Scheduled Maintenance on Friday, March 24

The City of Williamsburg’s online payment system for utility and tax bills will be down for scheduled maintenance on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Payments can be made in-person or via the 24-hour payment dropbox at the Municipal Building, 401 Lafayette St. Because the system maintenance will also affect the City’s internal systems, payments made in person on Friday, March 24 will not be posted until Monday, March 27, 2023.

We anticipate residents will be able to resume use of the online payment system by Friday evening.

This system maintenance also affects the Commissioner of the Revenue Office’s ability to process business license applications and renewals, as well as the Codes Compliance Division’s ability to process building permits and other applications. Processing of these applications and permits will resume Monday, March 27.
